On February 3, 2007 I was "compelled" to remove specific recordings. Hopefully, this will be temporary as I attempt to appease the many artists, performers, and, more specifically, the owners of the "musical works" and "sound recordings" who've made such beautiful music available.
As you all know, my intent was to introduce the music of the past to the youth of today. I had also hoped to reawaken past generations to the forgotten beauty of the music of our day. It was all about memories and not about profit. I asked for not a single cent during my more than 9 years on the internet. My heartfelt desire was to inspire increased sales of this beautiful music in an effort to bring about its rebirth. Those increased sales would have been of direct benefit to everyone in the music industry, no mischief intended. Was it all in vain?
I have a favor to ask of you all, if you've purchased any CDs, tapes, or cassettes over the years because of this web site please tell me via e-mail or through the guestbook. Please include the title of the CD and the artist's name. This will help me immensely in the weeks and months ahead. Please, this is vitally important.
Are you or someone you know an aspiring soloist or a member of an aspiring band? Do you or they have any "original music" that you'd like to introduce to the world? Would you like an outlet to millions of listeners? If so, I'd like to hear from you.
I'd like to thank you all for continuing to share with me and the world your wonderful comments. Please feel free to continue with your guestbook entries and, by all means, keep them coming! Hearing from each of you is and has always been my ONLY reward. I wish it were possible to return all calls from my loyal listeners but it's just not possible, I hope you all understand.
In the meantime, bookmark me and check in from time to time. Stay with me and let's keep those memories alive.
I've enjoyed having you all in my "home". Stay tuned, life is filled with surprises and there's no telling what's in store for tomorrow.
